Offset printing go to three paths prepress ,press & post press each steps has her preparation according to final product (magazine ,Boxes board ,newspaper ,Brushers , label ) we will start in this article with the step1 (prepress )and be continue in next articles .

Prepress is act as the backbone of all followed steps, so the operator for these steps should aware of all paths of his product .

Beginning with the designs & artworks which the designer should make sure of his scales, count the number of color which use (CMYK),define the margin of plate which suitable for machine he print , the number of books or magazine pages .

After the designer finish his design he should put his design in artwork according to the kind of work , if it is books or newspaper or boxes ,the designer should know the imposition which mean The process of laying out individual pages for it Perfect Binding or Saddle Stitching or Comb Binding ,after selecting the suitable skims , he should put color bare for color & register marks and check for any missing fonts and check for color he use then he send the file imposition in the suitable format for color separation ( PDF, EPS,JDF,Tiff ,…etc.)
